mechanism  The Boneshaker is a smaller version of the original Boneshakers machine that has three cycling skeletons.
This version with one Skeleton has a similar action the the original , that is as the skeleton cycles along he looks at the person winding the handle then leans back and looks at the dog , he then resumes cycling , pausing to look again at the operator on his way back to facing forward , all the time the dog is running in a manic fasion.
The machine is made of various materials including, Dogulas fir, Lime wood, Maple and a variety of metals for the bicycle and mechanical parts . Also I've used Yew wood for the wooden parts of the mechanism , this was given to me by Kew gardens and comes from a 400 year old tree blown down in a storm.
The automata is approximately 400mm wide , 100mm deep and 320mm high .
The first edition will be 10 machines. Price £ 980.00 + delivery
