The Donkey eating sweetcorn was our first collaborative effort and was designed by Matt Smith and Paul Spooner  . The first edition being made in February 1986 ( the birth date of the Fourteen Balls Toy co. )                                                                                                                                The Donkey chomps on the sweetcorn whilst moving his head from side to side, the corn rotates as he eats.                                                                                                                                            The originals were made of beech and maple ( the beech came from a gents outfitters ) the Spiral gear was made from old Oxo tins .                                                                                                 The model is 130mm x 170mm x 200mm high and to date there are 80.
