The goat in the
bath was designed by Paul Spooner and made by Matt Smith . The first edition
were finished in May 1990 there are now 38.
The bath gallops along while the goat beats it with a bath brush , a very
simple and elegant action that has hidden complexities.
The base is made of English elm , the bath is lime and the goat is Douglas
fir or pitch pine .
The model is finished in liquitex after at least three coats of gesso.
It is 200mm x 110mm x 270mm high.
